CD Recorder System does not react. • CD Recorder is in standby mode. ™ Press any key to activate the CD Recorder. • The system is not switched on. ™ Ensure that the ON/OFF button is on. • Main cable is not connected. ™ Ensure that the mains cable is plugged in correctly. • Player does not react. ™ Switch the ON/OFF button on the front of the player OFF and back ON. No sound. • The audio equipments are not connected or are connected wrongly. ™ Check the audio connections. ™ if using an amplifier, try using a different source. Amplifier sound is distorted. • CD Recorder analog output connection to amplifier is not correct. ™ Check that the CD recorder analog output is not connected to the amplifier Phono input Playback will not start. • The disc is not inserted properly. ™ Ensure that the label of the CD is facing up. • The disc is dirty or dusty. ™ Clean the disc. • The disc is defective. ™ Check that the disc is not defective by trying another disc.
