Before you can start using the bluetooth headset, you need to activate the bluetooth feature of your phone and switch on the bluetooth headset. With the bluetooth headset switched on, place the headset and your phone close together and open the bluetooth menu in your phone to search for bluetooth devices. Once the search is complete, a list of bluetooth devices will be displayed on the screen. Select the bluetooth headset from the list and select connect. You may be requested to enter the authentication password for connecting the bluetooth headset to the phone. Please refer to the bluetooth headset user manual for details. Using the phone as a modem The following is an example of the settings for Windows 2000: 1. Connect the data cable (see Accessories) to the USB socket on the PC and connect the other end to the socket on the right side of the mobile phone. 2. Installation will be carried out automatically after you have installed the application in the supplied CD. Main features 3. In the advanced settings of the modem, insert an additional initialization command at + cgdcont= 1, "IP","cmnet"; at the same time, enter Change default priority and select None for the default Data connection priority. 4. In the modem configuration, set the maximum speed as 115200; cancel Activate hardware flow control option under Hardware function. 5. Set the modem port speed as 115200. 6. Set the dial-up number and start dialing. Using GPRS network: If you have activated GPRS service, then set the dial-up number as: *98*1# (user name and password is not required). Using non-GPRS network: For China Mobile users, set the dial-up number as 17201 (username 172 and password 172). The above information is for reference only.
