Adjust the volume during a call Press / on the handset or / on the base station to change the volume during a call. Mute the microphone 1 Press on the handset or base station during a call. »» [Mute on] is displayed. »» The caller cannot hear you, but you can still hear the caller's voice. 2 Press again on the handset or base station to unmute the microphone. »» You can now communicate with the caller.
