Enter the first character of a contact 1 Access the phonebook directories on the handset/base station (see "Access the phonebook directories" in the previous paragraph in this chapter). 2 Press the alphanumerical key that matches the character. »» The first entry that starts with this character is displayed. Call from the phonebook 1 Access the phonebook directories on the handset/base station (see "Access the phonebook directories" in the previous paragraph in this chapter). 2 Select a contact. 3 You can make the call in either way: • Press or on the handset; or • Press /HOME or /MOBILE on the base station. 4 Then select a line to make the call. Tip •• If you select [Auto] on the handset, the idle line is pre-selected for an outgoing call, with [Home] as the highest priority.Then [Mobile 1] and [Mobile 2]. If you select [Manual], select an icon among these three options. Access the phonebook during a call 1 Press [Option] and select [Phonebook]. 2 Press [OK] to confirm. 3 Select a contact, then press [OK] to confirm. »» The number can be viewed. Add a record Note •• If your phonebook memory is full, a notification message is displayed on the handset. If your phonebook memory is full, a notiﬁcation

message is displayed on the handset. Delete some

records to add new ones.

Access the phonebook directories on

the handset/base station (see “Access the

phonebook directories” in the previous

paragraph in this section).

Select

[Option]

[Add new]

, then press

[OK]

to conﬁrm.

Enter the name, then press

[OK]

conﬁrm.

Enter the number, then press

[Save]

conﬁrm

Your new record is saved.

Tip

•

Press and hold

to insert a pause.

The phonebook only saves new number entries.

Edit a record

Access the phonebook directories on

the handset/base station (see “Access the

phonebook directories in the previous

paragraph in this chapter).

Enter the ﬁrst character of a contact

Press the alphanumerical key that matches

the character.

The ﬁrst entry that starts with this

character is displayed.

Call from the phonebook

Access the phonebook directories on

the handset/base station (see “Access the

phonebook directories” in the previous

paragraph in this chapter).

Select a contact.

You can make the call in either way:

•

Press

on the handset; or

•

Press

/HOME

/MOBILE

the base station.

Then select a line to make the call.

Tip

•

If you select

[Auto]
