AVD-505 1 BACK LIGHT switch The brightness of the light built into the display to illuminate the LCD screen (the back light) can be set to either of two levels: Bright or Dark. Dark Bright 3 VOLUME control Controls the volume of the display speaker. Softer Louder • The back light is dimmed automatically when the vehicle's lights are turned ON to make the screen easy to see at night. 2 BRIGHT control Controls the brightness of the image colors on the LCD screen. Dark Bright • Make sure the volume level of your system is set to a level that will permit you to hear outside traffic or emergency vehicles. 4 Speaker 5 Signal receiver This receiver receives signals from the remote controller supplied with the audio visual master unit. 6 POWER indicator light This light comes on when the system power is ON. • The color of the LCD screen may appear lighter or darker depending on the angle of vision. In this case, the brightness of the image can be adjusted with the BRIGHT control. 31
