Section 09 DAB Tuner Canceling road traffic flash and transport flash interruptions part way through • To cancel a road traffic flash or transport flash interruption and return to the original source, press TA/NEWS during an announcement interruption. Switching the News Flash on or off • Press TA/NEWS for 2 seconds to turn the news flash on. The N(EWS) indicator lights. • Press TA/NEWS for 2 seconds again to turn the news flash off. 2 Select DAB and press A.MENU. DAB MENU is displayed as follows. AS (announcement support) AVAILABLE SERVICE LIST (available service list) AVAILABLE PTY SEARCH (available PTY search) PRIMARY/SECONDARY(primary/secondary) SF (service follow) P.CH MEMORY (preset channel memory) You can operate a desired function. For details, refer to the pages for each of the functions. • Select BACK in the MENU display or press BACK to return to the previous display. Pressing WIDE on the head unit returns you to the previous display. • To return to the playback display, press BAND/ESC. • If you do not operate the function within about 30 seconds, the display is automatically returned. Introduction of advanced DAB tuner operation 1 For indications when the source is DAB, press A.MENU. MENU is displayed. 42 En Setting the announcement support interruption Even when listening to non-DAB sources, the Announcement Support Function lets you automatically listen to set Announcement Support. When the interrupting announcement ends, play returns to the original source. When listening to a DAB broadcast, you can switch setting for announcement interruption ON/OFF, except for Alarm announcements. Switching between Announcements is as follows: Announcement that is always ON: • Alarm (Alarm) Announcements operated by TA/NEWS: • Road Traffic Flash ("TRFC" indicator) • Transport Flash ("TRFC" indicator) • News Flash (News) (Hold for 2 seconds)
