Additional Information Section 15 English Español Deutsch Français Understanding built-in CD player error messages (Only AVHP6400CD) When problems occur during CD play an error message may appear on the display. If an error message appears on the display refer to the table below to see what the problem is and the suggested method of correcting the problem. If the error cannot be corrected, contact your dealer or your nearest Pioneer Service Center. Message Cause Action ERROR-11, 12, Dirty disc 17, 30 Clean disc. ERROR-11, 12, Scratched disc Replace disc. 17, 30 ERROR-22, 23 The CD format cannot be played back. Replace disc. ERROR-10, 11, Electrical or 12, 17, 30, A0 mechanical ERROR-44 All tracks are skip tracks Turn the ignition ON and OFF, or switch to a different source, then back to the CD player. Replace disc. Using the Display Correctly CAUTION • If moisture or foreign matter should get inside the product, turn OFF the power immediately and consult your dealer or the nearest authorized PIONEER Service Station. Using the product in this condition may result in a fire or electric shock, or other failure. • If you notice smoke, a strange noise or smell, or any other abnormal signs from the display, turn OFF the power immediately and consult your dealer or the nearest authorized PIONEER Service Station. Using the product in this condition may result in failure of the system. • Do not remove the rear cover of the display, as there are high-voltage components inside which may cause an electric shock. Be sure to consult your dealer or the nearest authorized PIONEER Service Station for internal inspection, adjustments or repairs. Handling the Display • When the display is subjected to direct sunlight for a long period of time, it will become very hot resulting in possible damage to the LCD screen. When not using this product, close the display and avoid exposing it to direct sunlight as much as possible. • The display should be used within the temperature ranges shown below. Operating temperature range: -10 to +50 °C Storage temperature range: -20 to +80 °C At temperatures higher or lower than the operating temperature range the display may not operate normally. • The LCD screen of this product is exposed in order to increase its visibility within the vehicle.
