Operating this unit Section 02 Operating this unit While using iPod, press this button to shuffle all tracks. Press and hold to switch the control mode while using an iPod connected USB connector of this unit. If using the iPod with an interface adapter (CD-IB100N), press to switch the shuffle function. b BAND/ESC button Press to select among three FM bands and one AM band. Press to return to the ordinary display when operating menu. Remote control Operation is the same as when using the buttons on the head unit. c VOLUME buttons Press to increase or decrease the volume. d FUNCTION button Press to select functions. e Thumb pad Move to perform manual seek tuning, fast forward, reverse and track search controls. Also used for controlling functions. Functions are the same as MULTI-CONTROL except for volume control. Press to display the disc title list, track title list, folder list, file list or preset channel list depending on the source. f DIRECT button Press to directly select the desired track. g CLEAR button Press to cancel the input number when 0 to 9 are used. h 0 to 9 buttons Press to directly select the desired track, preset tuning or disc. Buttons 1 to 6 can operate the preset tuning for the tuner or disc number search for the multi-CD player. i PGM button Press to operate the preprogrammed functions for each source. (Refer to Using the PGM button on page 36.) j MUTE button Press to turn off the sound.
