TEL mute  Muting Switching the warning tone If the front panel is not detached from the head unit within five seconds of turning off the ignition, a warning tone will sound. You can turn off the warning tone. 1 Use MULTI-CONTROL to select WARN. The function name tag WARN is highlighted. 2 Press MULTI-CONTROL to turn warning tone on. Warning tone :ON appears in the display. # To turn warning tone off, press MULTI-CONTROL again. Using the feature demo The feature demo automatically starts when power to this unit is turned off while the ignition switch is set to ACC or ON. You can turn the feature demo on or off. Important The red lead (ACC) of this unit should be connected to a terminal coupled with ignition switch on/off operations. If this is not done, the vehicle battery may be drained. 1 Use MULTI-CONTROL to select DEMO. The function name tag DEMO is highlighted. 2 Press MULTI-CONTROL to turn the feature demo on. Demonstration :ON appears in the display. # To turn the feature demo off, press MULTI-CONTROL again. Using reverse mode If you do not perform an operation within about 30 seconds, screen indications start to reverse, and then continue reversing every 10 seconds. You can turn the reverse mode on or off. ! Some entertainment displays may not oper- ate the reverse mode. 1 Use MULTI-CONTROL to select REV. The function name tag REV is highlighted. 2 Press MULTI-CONTROL to turn the reverse mode on. Reverse mode :ON appears in the display. # To turn the reverse mode off, press MULTI-CONTROL again. Switching the font There are two kinds of fonts to select from. 1 Use MULTI-CONTROL to select FONT. The function name tag FONT is highlighted. 2 Press MULTI-CONTROL to select the desired font. Pressing MULTI-CONTROL repeatedly will switch between Type1 (type 1) and Type2 (type 2) and that status will be displayed. Switching the Ever Scroll When Ever Scroll is set to ON, CD text information scrolls continuously in the display.
