4 Getting Started කԴ͜ Improving FM stereo sound If you're listening to a stereo FM broadcast, but find that there is a lot of noise because of a weak signal, try switching to mono. 1 Press SYSTEM MENU and select TUNER MENU. TUNER MENU • Change menu options using the 2 and 3 buttons. Press ENTER to select the currently displayed option. 2 Select FM AUTO/MONO from the tuner menu. FM AUTO/MONO • Change menu options using the 2 and 3 buttons. Press ENTER to select the currently displayed option. 3 Select FM AUTO or FM MONO. • Change menu options using the 5 and ∞ buttons. Press ENTER to select the currently displayed option. When listening in mono, the indicator lights in the display. Saving station presets If you often listen to a particular radio station, it's convenient to have the receiver store the frequency for easy recall whenever you want to listen to that station. This saves the effort of manually tuning in each time. This system can save up to 30 station presets.
