Part Names 04 Remote control unit 9 / / / : Selects a desired item on the menu screen English This section describes the button functions when the mode is set to TV. PC mode: STANDARD, USER) 14 29 21 DISPLAY: Displays the channel information 30 22 TV GUIDE: Displays the TV Guide On Screen™ system 23 ENTER: Executes a command 24 PAGE +/- (for the TV Guide On Screen™ system): 15 31 Scrolls the program listing screen vertically. 16 32 25 RETURN: Returns to the previous menu screen 17 26 MENU: Displays a panel menu in the TV Guide On Screen™ system Mode switch (with "TV" selected) 27 CH ENTER: Executes a channel number 28 CH RETURN: Returns to the previous channel This button is disabled while the TV Guide On Screen™ system is displayed. 1 TV a: Turns ON the Plasma Display Panel or places it in Standby. 2 Transmission confirmation LED 3 INPUT: Selects an input source for the Plasma Display Panel. (INPUT 1, INPUT 2, INPUT 3, INPUT 4, INPUT 5, INPUT 6 and PC) 29 VOL +/-: Sets the volume 30 M MUTING: Mutes the sound 31 SHIFT: Moves the small screen to a different location when in the picture-in-picture mode 32 SWAP: Switches between the two screens when in the 2-screen or picture-in-picture mode 4 SCREEN SIZE: Selects the screen size. 5 SLEEP: Sets the sleep timer. 6 INFO: Displays a channel banner when a TV program is being watched. NOTE • When using the remote control, aim it at the Plasma Display. • See pages 90 to 100 for buttons not listed on this page.
