This receiver features advanced technology that is designed for use with the XM Mini-Tuner. A short-circuit occurring in the antenna or surrounding antenna cable. Action Contact XM Listener Care (1-800-967-2346) and ask about upgrading your XM CNP-1000 to an XM MiniTuner. Have this receiver's model name and CNP-1000 XM Radio ID number ready beforehand, and explain that this receiver is displaying the message Upgrade XM Tuner. If you already have an XM Mini-Tuner connected and you see this message, turn off this receiver, make sure the XM Mini-Tuner is properly seated in the Mini-Tuner Home Dock, and then turn this receiver on again. If the message reappears, contact XM Listener Care and explain the issue that you're experiencing and the corrective actions you've tried. Make sure that there is nothing unusual with the antenna or antenna cable. Switch the power off, then back on again.
