STEREO/F.S.SURR Switches between stereo playback (page 24) and Front Stage Surround Advance modes (page 24). ADV.SURR Switches between the various surround modes (page 23). 3 TOP MENU Displays the disc 'top' menu of a DVD. MIDNIGHT/LOUDNESS Switches to Midnight or Loudness listening (page 26). 4 TUNER EDIT* Memorizes/names stations for recall (page 32). SETUP Press to access the System Setup menu (page 28). Also functions as the SETUP button for DVD/DVR units. 5 RECEIVER CONTROL buttons VOLUME +/- Use to set the listening volume. EFFECT/CH SEL Press repeatedly to select a channel, then use LEVEL +/- to adjust the level (page 29). Also adjusts the level of the Advanced Surround effects as well as Dolby Pro Logic II Music parameters (page 23). You can then use the LEVEL +/- buttons to make these adjustments. LEVEL +/- Use to adjust the effect and channel levels. MUTE Mutes/unmutes the sound. ANALOG ATT* Attenuates (lowers) the level of an analog input signal to prevent distortion. 6 SHIFT Press to access the 'boxed' commands (above the buttons) on the remote.
