Cut Mode Erase unwanted parts from a recording (available in PL ONE mode only). 1. Start playback of the file with the unwanted part. 2. Press ERASE once to mark the beginning of the unwanted part. "CUT-S" flashes on the display. 3. Press ERASE again to mark the ending of the unwanted part. "CUT-E" flashes on the display. 4. Press ERASE once again within five (5) seconds to confirm cutting (editing) (or press STOP to cancel). "WAIT" will show on the display. 5. After the cut is successful, the unit will enter STOP mode. Note: CUT cannot be made while the battery is low and the battery icon is blinking.

After the cut is successful, the unit will enter STOP mode.
