6. If you need to change the battery or SD card after using the camera underwater, make sure the camera is completely clean and dry. Open the battery/SD card door with the battery compartment facing downward. Wipe off remaining water along the battery/SD card door to prevent moisture to go inside. 7. If the waterproof seal of the battery/SD card door has been contacted with salt water, make sure to use fresh water to rinse the camera and wipe it dry to avoid damage. 8. When cleaning the camera, make sure all camera parts (except for the waterproof seal) such as battery compartment or USB/AV out terminal are not exposed to water. Storage and Maintenance 1. It should be rinsed in fresh water as soon as possible. 4. Water, sand or dirt inside the camera may cause failure of the camera. 5.
