Water or dirt in fuel system. Blocked fuel line, empty gas tank, or stale gasoline Unit running on CHOKE. Water or dirt in fuel system. Loose parts: damaged impeller Drive belt loose or damaged. Incorrect adjustment of traction drive cable Worn or damaged friction wheel. Auger drive belt loose or damaged. Auger control cable not adjusted correctly. Shear bolt broken Discharge chute clogged. Foreign object lodged in auger CORRECTION Replace spark plug. Use carburetor bowl drain to flush and refill with fresh fuel. Clean fuel line; check fuel supply; add fresh gasoline Set choke lever to RUN position. Use carburetor bowl drain to flush and refill with fresh fuel. Stop engine immediately and disconnect spark plug wire. Tighten all bolts and make all necessary repairs. If vibration continues, have the unit serviced by a competent repairman. Replace drive belt. Adjust traction drive cable. Replace friction wheel. Adjust auger drive belt; replace if damaged. Adjust auger control cable. Replace shear bolt Stop engine immediately and disconnect spark plug wire. Clean discharge chute and inside of auger housing. Stop engine immediately and disconnect spark plug wire. Auger control cable not adjusted correctly.
Adjust auger control cable.
Shear bolt broken
Replace shear bolt
Discharge chute clogged.
Stop engine immediately and disconnect spark
plug wire. Clean discharge chute and inside of
auger housing.
Foreign object lodged in auger
Stop engine immediately and disconnect spark
plug wire. Remove object from auger.
