If

the

pedals

lose

all

resistance,

the

resistance

strap

may

have

become

disconnected

from

the

con-

trol

cable.

To

reattach

the

resistance

strap,

the

crank

plate

must

first

be

removed

from

the

side

of

the

bike.

Unscrew

the

left

pedal

in

a

clockwise

direction

and

pull

off

the

crank

arm

cover.

Unscrew

the

nut

from

the

crank

pin,

tap

the

pin

from

the

crank

arm,

and

slide

off

the

crank

arm.

Firmly

pull

the

crank

plate

away

from

the

plastic

body

of

the

bike.

To

reattach

the

resistance

strap,

turn

the

resistance

control

to setting

1

and

pull

the

strap

up

around

the

front

of

the

flywheel.

Make

sure

that

the

strap

is

not

twisted.

Hook

the

spring

on

the

control

cable

into

the

grommet

in

the

resistance

strap.

Reassemble

the

bike

by

reversing

the

steps

above.

A

few

drops

of

light

multi

-purpose

oil

should

be

applied

to

the

chain

periodically

to

insure

smooth

operation

of

the

bike.

The

oil

can

be

applied

through

the

opening

in

the

bottom

of

the

cover

by

tipping

the

bike

forward.

returns

be

pre

-authorized

Pro

Form.

-authorization

warranty

does

not

extend

to

any

product

or

damage

to

a

product

caused

by

or

attributable

freight

damage,

abuse,

for

commercial

or

rental

purposes.
