Using the menus The Home menu The top-level or "Home" menu is always displayed when you press /MENU. The menu options are: Home Now Playing Now Playing Available only during playback. Press to return to the currently playing file. Home Music Music Press to play all the music files on the player. Press to enter the Music menu and choose an artist, album, genre, year, or individual title. Home Pictures Pictures Press to play a slideshow of all the image files on the player. Home Videos Videos Press to play all the videos on the player. Home Radio Radio Press to listen to the radio. Press to enter the Radio menu and choose to either listen to the radio or play recordings of previous radio shows. Home Audiobooks Audiobooks Press to play all the audiobooks on the player. Press to enter the Audiobook menu and choose a particular audiobook. Home Favorites Home Fitness Home Settings Favorites As you listen to music, you can add individual titles to a "favorites" playlist. Press to play the entire playlist. Press to enter the Favorites menu and choose a particular title or edit the playlist. Fitness Press to enter the Fitness menu, which lets you: • Record your running details • Change the stopwatch settings • Check your results • Use the pedometer • Use the calorie counter • Enter personal data, such as sex, height and weight, for the BMI calculator and pedometer • Calculate your body mass index (BMI) Settings Press to enter the Settings menu, which lets you: • Choose the shuffle playback mode • Choose an equalizer setting • Customize the music menu • Set the slideshow image duration • Change the screen brightness • Change the screensaver setting • Turn on/off the automatic shutdown feature • Switch between US and European radio frequency steps • Choose a record duration setting • Change the language of the player's menus • Switch between English (Imperial) and metric units • Switch between MTP and MSC modes • Flip the display 180° • Display the firmware version, space used, and space available • Set date and time • Reset the player's settings to the factory defaults 15
