Before Calling for Service Symptom Can't turn it on. It does not work when the button is pressed. Sound is not produced. Check • Isthepowercodepluggedintotheoutlet? Remedy • Connect the power plug to the outlet. • Is there static electricity in the air? • Are the speaker and external component connected properly? • Does the Mute function work? • Is the volume set to minimum? • Is the speaker setup selected to NONE? • Disconnect the power plug and connect it again. • Properly connect it. • Press Mute button to cancel the function. • Adjust the volume. • Refer to pages 19~20 to select LARGE, SMALL or YES. Picture does not appear when the function is selected. Remote controller does not work.
