Check before installing another operating system such as Windows XP Q & A To remove Windows 7/Vista, the default operating system of this computer, and to install a different operating system such as Windows XP, you need to change the SETUP settings first. Set the AHCI item in SETUP to Disabled before installing another operating system. If a problem occurs because of the installation of another operating system, the company will not provide technical support, a replacement or refund, and if our service engineer visits you due to this problem, a service charge will be applied. Restrictions Intel Turbo Memory is only supported for Windows 7/Vista. This function is not available for any other operating system. 1 Turn the computer on and press the F2 key when the booting screen (SAMSUNG logo) appears. 2 After a moment, the SETUP screen appears. Enter the Advanced menu in SETUP. 3 Move to the AHCI Mode Control item and press Enter. 4 Select Disabled and press Enter. 5 Enter the Exit menu, move to Exit Saving Changes and press Enter. 6 When the Save configuration changes and exit now? message appears, select Yes and press Enter.
