Check before installing another operating system such as Windows XP To remove Windows Vista, the default operating system of this computer, and to install a different operating system such as Windows XP, you need to change the SETUP settings first. Set the AHCI item in SETUP to Disabled before installing another operating system. If a problem occurs because of the installation of another operating system, the company will not provide technical support, a replacement or refund, and if our service engineer visits you due to this problem, a service charge will be applied. Restrictions Intel Turbo Memory is only supported for Windows Vista. This function is not available for any other operating system. 1 Turn the computer on and press the F2 key when the booting screen (SAMSUNG logo) appears. 5 Enter the Exit menu, move to Exit Saving Changes and press Enter. 2 After a moment, the SETUP screen appears. Enter the Advanced menu in SETUP. 3 Move to the AHCI Mode Control item and press Enter. 4 Select Disabled and press Enter. 6 When the Save configuration changes and exit now? message appears, select Yes and press Enter. Check before installing another operating system such as Windows XP
To remove Windows Vista, the default operating system of this computer, and to install a different operating system such
as Windows XP, you need to change the SETUP settings first.

Turn the computer on and press the
F2
key when the
booting screen (SAMSUNG logo) appears.
