Page 139 highlights

Time & Date This menu allows you to change the current time and date displayed. You can also check the current time for 23 major cities around the world. The following options are available: Set Time: allows you to enter the current time. You can choose the time format in the Time Format menu (Menu 7.3.4). Note: Before setting the time, you must specify your time zone in the World Time menu (Menu 7.3.3). Set Date: allows you to enter the month, day and year. World Time: allows you to find out what time it is another part of world, using the Left and Right navigation keys. The screen shows the: ♦city name. ♦time difference between the selected city and your city if you have set the local time (see below for further details). ♦current date and time. ♦city selected as your time zone. To select your time zone: 1. Select the city corresponding to your time zone by pressing the Left or Right key one or more times. The local date and time display. 2. Press the Set soft key or the key. Time Format: allows you to change the time format to 24 Hours or 12 Hours. Applications 139

1. If necessary, turn off the phone by holding down the key until the power-off image displays.	23

3. Slide the SIM card into the SIM card socket so that it locks the card into place. Make sure the gold contacts of the card face into the phone.	24

3. When charging is finished, unplug the adapter from the power outlet and disconnect it from the phone by pressing the gray buttons on both sides of the connector and pulling the connector out.	26
