Messages can be sent using text, fax, Email and paging messaging systems, provided that these services are supported by your network. To send text messages by phone, you must obtain the number of the SMS center from your service provider. When the Message icon ( ) appears, you have received new text messages. When the memory is full, an error message displays and you cannot receive any new messages. Use the Delete option in each message box to delete obsolete ones. Inbox (Menu 1.1) This Message box is used to store the messages that you have received. When you enter this menu, the list of messages in the box displays with the senders' phone numbers or names, if available in your Phonebook. 1. Select a message from the list and press the View soft key to read the message contents. 2. To scroll through the contents, press the or key. 3. To scroll to the previous or next messages, press the or key. 61

Messages
The SMS (Short Message Service) function is a
network service and may not be supported by your
network. Messages can be sent using text, fax,
Email and paging messaging systems, provided that
these services are supported by your network. To
send text messages by phone, you must obtain the
number of the SMS center from your service
provider.
When the Message icon (
) appears, you have
received new text messages. When the memory is
full, an error message displays and you cannot
receive any new messages. Use the
Delete
