STATIC-IP
: Select it when the main system is
connected to the network that is using the fixed IP.
DHCP
: Select it when the main system is connected to
the network whose IP address is dynamically assigned
by DHCP.
ADSL(PPPoE)
: Select it when the main system is
connected to the ADSL network using PPPoE.
ID/Password
You can manually enter the ID/PASSWORD when
ADSL is selected.
When the main system is connected to the ADSL
network, you need to enter the user ID and password
provided by the ADSL carrier. The user ID and
password may be entered by using the virtual
keyboard.
Site IP
Sets the IP address for the main system to be
connected to the network. If the connection mode
is set to STATIC-IP, the user needs to enter the IP
address directly.
If the connection mode is either DHCP or ADSL, the IP
address provided by the DHCP server or ADSL carrier
will be automatically displayed. If a DHCP or ADSL
connection attempt fails, 000.000.000.000 will be
displayed. In this case, turn off the power of the main
system and wait for a while. And then, turn on the
power and retry the connection.
Subnet Mask
Sets the subnet mask address for the main system.
Gateway
Sets the gateway address for the main system.
Port(TCP)
The port number is selectable from 554 to 2048.
IP Test
Assigned IP
Displays the IP address assigned to the current
system.
Connection Status
If you press “
Test
”, it tests whether the IP address can
be connected through the network.
If “
OK
” is displayed, it is a usable IP address;
if “
Failed
” is displayed, it is an unusable IP address.
DDNS Setup
DDNS Setup function allows you to use the dynamic
IP address connected to the system as if it is a fixed IP
address.
