Wi-Fi Settings Wi-Fi is a wireless networking technology that provides access to local area networks. For more information about using your tablet's Wi-Fi features, see "Wi-Fi" on page 86. Wi-Fi Direct Wi-Fi Direct allows devices to connect to each other directly via Wi-Fi, without a Wi-Fi network or hotspot, and without having to set up the connection. Bluetooth Bluetooth is a short-range wireless communications technology for exchanging information over a distance of about 30 feet.
