Step outside of the phone Use infrared Your phone has an infrared port, that allows you to send or receive data from different types of IrDAcompliant devices. Send data 1. Access an application, Phonebook, Camera, or Media box. 2. Select an item. 3. Press and select Send via infrared. 4. Align the infrared ports on the phone and the other device. Receive data 1. Turn the infrared feature to On (the IrDA icon displays on the top line). 2. Align the infrared port on your phone, with the infrared port of the device you want to share information with. 3. When you have received data from another device, you are prompted to save the file. 4. Select Yes to save the file in the corresponding folder. 20

Select an item.
3.
Press <
Options
> and select
Send via infrared
.
4.
Align the infrared ports on the
phone and the other device.
