1. Enter your message. The maximum number of characters allowed in a message varies by service provider. If your message exceeds the maximum number of characters, the phone will split the message. 2. Press to access the following options: • Send: send the message. • Text: change the text attributes. • Add media/Add emoticon: add a picture, animated image, a melody, or emoticon into text. • Preset messages: insert a text template into text. • Save message: save the message in the Outbox. 3. When you have finished, press and select Send. 4. Enter a destination number or press to select one from your Phonebook, and press . To send the message to more than one recipient, fill in additional destination fields. 5. Press to send the message. Inbox (Menu 5.1.2) Use this menu to access SMS messages you have received. While viewing a message, press to access the following options: • Delete: delete the message. • Message reply: reply to the sender. • Call back: dial the sender's phone number. • Cut address: extract URLs, e-mail addresses, or phone numbers from the message. • Send: forward the message to other people. • Edit: edit the message. • Extract media: save media items from the message to your phone's memory. • Transfer: move the message between the SIM card and the phone's memory. 39 Menu functions Messages (Menu 5)
