MAINS LEAD • The mains lead is secured to the back plate using a weatherproof cable gland. Do not loosen the gland as this will impair the weatherproof sealing. Please take particular care not to drop or bump the set during handling/installation. COATING MATERIAL • The steel back plate is protected from corrosion using a polyester powder coating. Good care and attention must be taken to prevent scratching the surface. Any uncoated metal will corrode potentially affecting the integrity of the enclosure. • Similarly the same care and attention applies to the aluminum enclosure which is anodised to protect it from corrosion.
