Your Phone's Settings Setting theText Entry To set the text entry: 1. Press to access the main menu. 2. Select Settings. 3. Select Others ( WXYZ ). 4. Select Text Entry. 5. Select your desired option and press . Ⅲ Auto-Capital to set the auto-capital On or Off. Ⅲ MyWords to set your original words (see page 45). Ⅲ Input Language to select the language (English or Spanish). Ⅲ T9 SettingstocustomizetheT9settings(seepage44). Ⅲ AddWord to store words that you use frequently (see page 45). Setting Abbreviated Dialing Abbreviated Dialing is another form of speed dialing. It allows you to dial a number by entering 3-6 digits of any number in your Contacts Directory. If the digits you enter do not match any stored Contacts entry, your phone will automatically prepend the digits you specify. To activate this feature: 1. Press to access the main menu. 2.
