AF red A blue/ screen MKE 10- 2R -B2 Cable Unit input • Connecting the AF output The unbalanced AF signal is available at the output socket 7. This jack can be connected to audio recording units and mixer boards or to miniature headphones (e. g. HD 405 and the HZB 17 ear bow). Connection data: Connector plug: miniature coaxial socket Impedance: approx. 10 Ohms Rated load: approx.150 Ohms Output voltage at peak deviation: adjustable within a range from 40 mV to 1.5 V; adjust at potentiometer 4 (accessible after removing the cover panel). Factory setting: 1.5 V A cable prepared to make the connection is enclosed with the receiver (wiring details are shown in the illustration). The GZK 2012-1 cable, Item No. 2989, is available for use with miniature earphones. When connecting to units which supply phantom power, the DC voltage must be blocked by inserting condensers. The illustrations shows a circuit design suitable for this purpose. 14
