Maintenance Cleaning the Machine Cleaning the scanning glass and rollers Clean the scanning glass and rollers frequently to ensure the quality of transmitted images and copies. 1 Open the operation panel. 2 Flip up the green levers on each side of the white roller. 3 Wipe the scanning glass (under the white roller) and rollers with a cotton swab. • Make sure that all dirt and stains (such as correcting fluid) are removed. Dirt and stains will cause vertical lines on transmitted images and copies. 90
