User instructions 6. TROUBLESHOOTING. WHAT TO DO IF... Fault The salt light does not turn on The rinse aid light does not turn on Water collects at the bottom of the dishwasher Cutlery not dry Tea or lipstick residues on the dishes The inside of the dishwasher is wet Change in colour of the plastic parts inside the chamber The salt and/or rinse aid light is on Detergent residues or dishes not perfectly clean Possible cause There is still enough salt There is still enough rinse aid The water inlet hose is kinked or crushed The drain siphon is clogged The filter unit is clogged Water in the bowls of spoons or ladles Wash temperature too low Detergent insufficient or unsuitable Cutlery arranged incorrectly in the cutlery basket Condensation The colour of plastic parts inside the dishwasher can fade with use No salt No rinse aid Dishes are preventing the cover of the detergent dispenser from opening completely The detergent dispenser cover is blocked by the tablet Tablets used in a short program; the detergent does not have time to dissolve Detergent stored in an open box in a damp environment. It has lost its effectiveness, aged or become lumpy Dishes arranged incorrectly Solution Check the fill level Check the fill level Check the route of the hose Make sure that the siphon is not clogged or partially clogged Clean the filters as indicated in the manual Cutlery (e.g. serving spoons) in the cutlery drawer (if present), on the bottom of the basket or on the fold down shelves at the side must be arranged with their bowls facing downwards. Check the fill level Check the fill level Do not place items of cutlery on top of one another or allow them to touch one another The appliance is not faulty, it is normal for there to be condensation on the inside walls This is normal and does not affect the effectiveness of the dishwasher Add salt Add rinse aid The dishes should not protrude from the basket The tablet should be inserted transversely, not vertically Use a powder detergent or a more intensive program Replace detergent Water cannot pass correctly if the dishes are arranged incorrectly. Take greater care when arranging the dishes. Traces of rust on cutlery Cutlery not oxidation resistant. Knife blades are particularly subject to this. Use only stainless cutlery. 51
