Water resistance In order for your phone to be water-resistant, the covers for the micro USB port, the headset connector, the HDMI™ connector, the microSD™ card slot, and the SIM card slot must be firmly closed. Also, make sure that the bottom cover is attached correctly. Avoid exposing your device to environments with excessive dust or moisture. Normal wear and tear, along with damage to your device, can reduce its ability to resist dust or moisture. Do not use your phone in the following conditions: Ocean water Swimming pool Diving Hot water Sand/mud Other liquid chemicals Never submerge the mobile phone, the micro USB port, the headset connector, the HDMI™ connector, the microSD™ card slot, or the SIM card slot in water. Never expose the mobile phone to any liquid chemicals, and never expose your mobile phone to moist environments with extreme high or low temperatures. If water or liquid gets on the micro USB port, the headset connector, the HDMI™ connector, the microSD™ card slot, and the SIM card slot, wipe it off with a dry cloth. The water resistance of the micro USB port, the headset connector, the HDMI™ connector, the microSD™ card slot, and the SIM card slot is not guaranteed in all environments or conditions. All compatible accessories, including chargers, handsfree devices, micro USB cables, and microSD™ cards, are not dust- and water-resistant on their own. Your warranty does not cover damage or defects caused by abuse or improper use of your device. If you have any further questions about the use of your products, refer to our Customer support service for help. IP (Ingress Protection) rating Your phone has an IP rating, which means it has undergone certified tests to measure its resistance levels to water. The digit after X indicates how resistant the phone is to water. The higher the numbers, the higher the respective protection. The IP ratings of your phone are IPX5, IPX7 and IP5X. This means that your phone is dust protected and is protected against the effects of immersion and low-pressure water stream. So you can use the phone in extreme weather conditions, for example, when it's snowing or raining, or when humidity levels are high. You can also use the phone in dusty or sandy environments, and when your fingers are wet. See the table for more details. Water resistance IPX0. No special protection IPX1.
