Connections for Playback You can use this camcorder as a VCR by connecting it directly to your TV for playback. There are two ways to conned the camcorder to your TV. When monitoring the playback picture by connecting the camcorder to your TV, we recommend you to use house current for the power source (p. 20). Connecting to a TV without Audio/Video Input Jacks Connect the camcorder to the TV by using the supplied RFU adaptor. Set the channel selector on the RFU adaptor to 3CH or 4CH whichever is not active in your area. With this connection, the sound is in monaural. C ` 3CH/4CH et' 3CH/4C RFU-90UC RFU-95UC VHF/UHF 0 : Signal flow ANT AERIAL OUT • RFU-90UC/95UC Connecting to a TV or a VCR with Audio/Vide10 Input Jacks For Stereo Model (CCD-FXS30 only) Connect the camcorder to the TV by using the A/V connecting cable (supplied). Set the TV/VCR selector on the TV to VCR. When connecting the camcorder to VCR, set the input selector on the VCR to LINE. 0 AUDIO VIDEO INPUT VIDEO CCD-FX530 : Signal flow VIDEO AUDIO AUDIO If your TV or VCR is a monaural type, connect only the white plug for audio on both the camcorder and the TV or the VCR. With this connection, the sound is in monaural.
