You can make a program by designating up to 24 selections in the order you want them to be played. You can make a program for both sides (side A and side B) of the tape at one time. A pause is counted as one programming step. The unit will play the disc according to your program. To play the selections for side B When the selections for side A are played, the unit will pause. Set the tape to the beginning of side B ("B" lights up), then press►or IL The selections for side B will start playing. To stop playing Press a You can play the same program repeatedly as long as you do not cancel program play or erase the program. To adjust the blank spaces between selections In a program, if you do not change the order of selections, the spaces between those selections remain the same as on the disc. You can make all the blank spaces 3 seconds long. See page 22 for details. Also, if the AUTO SPACE function is turned on, the playing time displayed for each selection will include an additional three seconds. When the power is turned off while playing a program selection The program is erased. When pressing PROGRAM during playing The current playing selection will be the first one. You can program while playing. To cancel program play Press CONTINUE and return to the continuous playing mode.
