The

disc

memo

is

stored

in

the

compact

disc

player's

memory.

When

a

disc

is

put

in

the

player,

the

player

identifies

the

disc

by

the

total

number

of

selections

and

the

total

playing

time.

If

a

disc

memo

has

been

made

for

that

disc,

the

player

retrieves

the

memo

from

its

memory

and

displays

it

in

the

window.

Therefore,

as

the

disc

memo

is

not

located

on

the

disc

itself,

when

the

disc

is

put

in

another

compact

disc

player,

no

memo

will

be

displayed.
