Playing a CD (continued) To Stop playback Pause Select a track Locate a desired point in a track Remove or replace the CD Adjust the volume Do this Press CD x (or x on the remote). Press CD u (or X on the remote). Press again to resume playback. During playback or pause, press CD . (or l on the remote) or CD > (or L on the remote) repeatedly until you find the desired track. During playback, press down CD m (or j on the remote) or CD M (or J on the remote) until you find the desired point. Press CD EJECT A. Turn VOLUME (or press VOL +/- on the remote). Tips • If you press CD u (or CD H on the remote) when the power is off, the system automatically turns on and the CD starts playing if there is a CD on the disc tray (One Touch Play). • To switch to the CD while listening to another source, press CD u (or CD H on the remote). The CD will automatically start playing (Automatic Source Selection). • "NO DISC" appears in the display if there is no CD on the disc tray. Recording from a CD to a tape - CD Synchro Recording The CD Synchro Recording function makes it easy to record from a CD to a tape. Both Type I (normal) and Type II (CrO2) tapes can be used. To record only the tracks that you want, it is convenient to use the Program Edit function (see page 23).
