Custom Settings [CUSTOM SETUP] Use this to set up playback related and other settings. Select [CUSTOM SETUP] in the Setup Display. For details, see "Using the Setup Display" (page 86). The default settings are underlined. CUSTOM SETUP HDMI CONTROL: OFF STB SYNCHRO: OFF DIGITAL IN: TV OPT, SAT/CABLE COAX PAUSE MODE: AUTO TRACK SELECTION: OFF MULTI-DISC RESUME: ON AUDIO DRC: OFF AUDIO (HDMI): OFF x [HDMI CONTROL] Switches the HDMI CONTROL function on or off. This function is available when you connect the system and TV with the HDMI cable. For details, see "Preparing for the HDMI CONTROL function" (page 41). [OFF] [ON] Sets the [HDMI CONTROL] function to off. Sets the [HDMI CONTROL] function to on. You can operate mutually between components that are connected with the HDMI cable. Note • When you set to [ON] without the HDMI connection of the TV, [Please verify the HDMI connection.] appears and you cannot set to [ON]. x [STB SYNCHRO] Switches the STB SYNCHRO function on or off. This function is available when you connect the system and TV with the HDMI cable and you set [HDMI CONTROL] to [ON]. For details, see "Enjoying STB (Set Top Box) Digital Sound or Digital Satellite Receiver Sound from the System" (page 46). [OFF] Sets the [STB SYNCHRO] function to off. [ON] Sets the [STB SYNCHRO] function to on. Note • When this function is set to [ON], [DIGITAL IN] function setting begins. x [DIGITAL IN] Assigns a digital sound input corresponding with the function "TV" and "SAT/CABLE." [TV t OPT, SAT/CABLE t COAX] Optical audio input signals are assigned to "TV" function, coaxial audio input signals are assigned to "SAT/CABLE" function. [TV t COAX, SAT/CABLE t OPT] Coaxial audio input signals are assigned to "TV" function, optical audio input signals are assigned to "SAT/CABLE" function. x [PAUSE MODE] (DVD VIDEO/DVD-R/ DVD-RW only) Selects the picture in pause mode. [AUTO] [FRAME] The picture, including subjects that move dynamically, is output with no jitter. Normally select this position. The picture, including subjects that do not move dynamically, is output in high resolution. x [TRACK SELECTION] (DVD VIDEO only) Gives the sound track which contains the highest number of channels priority when you play a DVD VIDEO on which multiple audio formats (PCM, DTS, MPEG audio, or Dolby Digital format) are recorded. [OFF] [AUTO] No priority given. Priority given. Advanced Settings and Adjustments Note • When you set the item to [AUTO], the language may change. The [TRACK SELECTION] setting has higher priority than the [AUDIO] settings in [LANGUAGE SETUP] (page 87).
