Step 2: Charging the battery pack Getting Started DCR-SR65/SR85: Battery pack DC IN jack AC Adaptor DCR-SR45/SR46: DC plug With the mark on the right POWER switch DC plug With the mark on the top Power cord (Mains lead) 4 To the wall outlet (wall socket) DC IN jack Open the jack cover. AC Adaptor Power cord (Mains lead) To the wall outlet (wall socket) You can charge the "InfoLITHIUM" battery pack (H series) (p. 91) after attaching it to your camcorder. Notes Your camcorder operates only with an "InfoLITHIUM" battery pack (H series). 1 Turn the POWER switch in the direction of the arrow to OFF (CHG) (the default setting). 2 Attach the battery pack by sliding it in the direction of the arrow until it clicks. 3 For DCR-SR65/SR85: Connect the AC Adaptor to the DC IN jack on the Handycam Station. For DCR-SR45/SR46: Connect the AC Adaptor to the DC IN jack on your camcorder. 4 For DCR-SR65/SR85: Connect the power cord (mains lead) to the AC Adaptor and the wall outlet (wall socket). Insert the camcorder into the Handycam Station securely, all the way to the bottom. When setting the camcorder onto the Handycam Station, close the DC IN jack cover. For DCR-SR45/SR46: Connect the power cord (mains lead) to the AC Adaptor and the wall outlet (wall socket). The CHG (charge) lamp lights up and charging starts. The CHG (charge) lamp turns off when the battery is fully charged. Disconnect 13
