Symptom The file name is not displayed properly. Check item Cause/Solutions • Did you rename the file with c If you named or renamed the file on your a computer or other device? computer and the file name includes characters other than alphanumeric characters, the file name may not be able to be displayed properly on the photo frame. Also, for a file created on a computer or other device, a maximum of eight characters from the beginning of the file name can be displayed. Blank areas appear • Is the image extremely high at the top and or wide? bottom. Note Only alphanumeric characters can be displayed. c If an image is extremely high or wide, blank areas may appear because of the ratio between the height and width. Saving and deleting images Symptom Cannot save an image. Cannot delete an image. An image was deleted accidentally. Check item Cause/Solutions • Is the memory card write- c Cancel write-protection and try saving protected? again. • Is the write-protect switch of c Slide the write-protect switch to the the memory card in the enable position. (.page 49) [LOCK] position? • Is the memory card full? c Replace the memory card with one with sufficient free space. Or, delete any unnecessary images. (.page 32) • Is the internal memory full? c Delete any unnecessary images. (.page 32) • Is the memory card write- c Use the device you are using to cancel protected? write-protection and try deleting again. • Is the write-protect switch of c Slide the write-protect switch to the the memory card in the enable position. (.page 49) [LOCK] position? • Are you using "Memory Stick-ROM"? c It is not possible to delete an image from or format "Memory Stick-ROM". c An image cannot be recovered once it is - deleted.
