Using the supplied accessories (PC serial cable) You can send image data from your camera to an IBM PC/AT compatible PC (via the serial port), using the supplied PC serial cable and Sony PictureGear 3.2 Lite. See page 72 for the operating environment of Sony PictureGear 3.2 Lite. Personal computer to the serial port PC serial cable (supplied) to the serial jack Digital still camera 1 Install the supplied application software, Sony PictureGear 3.2 Lite, into your personal computer. For details, refer to the instruction manual of the Sony PictureGear 3.2 Lite. (page 68) 2 Connect one end of the PC serial cable to the serial jack and the other end to the serial port on your personal computer as illustrated. 3 Turn on the power of your camera, and make sure if the PC serial cable is connected to the serial jack on your camera. Set the MODE selector to PLAY. "PC MODE SERIAL" appears on the LCD screen, and your camera turns to standby for communication. 4 Operate the personal computer to receive and use image file from your camera. Using the supplied accessories (PC serial cable)
You can send image data from your camera to an IBM PC/AT compatible PC (via the
serial port), using the supplied PC serial cable and Sony PictureGear 3.2 Lite.

Install the supplied application software, Sony PictureGear 3.2
Lite, into your personal computer.

Connect one end of the PC serial cable to the serial jack and the
other end to the serial port on your personal computer as
illustrated.

Turn on the power of your camera, and make sure if the PC serial
cable is connected to the serial jack on your camera. Set the MODE
selector to PLAY.
“PC MODE SERIAL” appears on the LCD screen, and your camera turns to
standby for communication.
