Playback menu Playback menu 1 Delete You can delete multiple images. Once you have deleted an image, you cannot restore it. Check whether you delete the image or not beforehand. Marked images All images Deletes the selected images. 1Select the images you want to delete with b/B on the multi-selector, then press the center of the multi-selector. (To cancel a selection, press the center again.) To delete other images, repeat this step. 2Press the MENU button. After a message appears, select [Delete] with v on the multi-selector, then press the center of the multi-selector. Deletes all the images in the memory card. After a message appears, select [Delete] with v on the multi-selector, then press the center of the multi-selector. Note • Protected images cannot be deleted. Format Formats the memory card. Note that formatting irrevocably erases all data on a memory card, including protected images. After a message appears, select [OK] with v on the multiselector, then press the center of the multi-selector. Notes • During the format, the access lamp lights up. Do not eject the memory card while the lamp is lit. • Format the memory card using the camera. If you format it on a computer, the memory card may not be usable with the camera, depending on the format type used. • Formatting may take several minutes depending on the memory card. • You cannot format "Memory Stick Duo" media that are inserted into the CF card insertion slot using an adaptor. 120
