Connection Symptom No picture appears on the TV connected. The picture from the connected component does not appear on the screen of this player. The picture from the connected component appears irregularly. No sound or distorted sound is heard from the audio component connected. Cause and/or corrective action  Set the LINE SELECT switch to OUT.  Color system setting is not correct for the TV. Set [COLOR SYSTEM] according to the color system of the TV ( page 42).  Check the input/output setting on the TV.  Set the LINE SELECT switch to IN.  Press ENT to switch the color system of the player to that of the external signal ( page 50).  Set [DOWNMIX] or [DIGITAL OUT SETUP] according to the component connected ( page 43). Error displays Display HI DC IN LOW BATTERY Wrong Region Cause and/or corrective action  An AC power adaptor which is rated higher than the one supplied or recommended is being used. Use only the supplied AC power adaptor.  The rechargeable battery is used up completely. Charge the battery ( page 19).  The region code of the DVD currently in the player does not conform to the player ( page 9).  The operation cannot be done with the disc.
