Communicating with the AIBO® Entertainment Robot Teaching the AIBO® Entertainment Robot to recognize your name and face You can teach the AIBO robot to recognize your name, voice, and face. The owner of the name, voice, and face that the AIBO robot learns to recognize becomes very special. The AIBO robot will show special devotion to this person. You can only teach the AIBO robot to recognize your name, voice, and face when it is in Autonomous mode. 1 While the AIBO robot is in Autonomous mode, say "Owner registration". Owner registration. I'm going to register my owner's name, face and voice. Please touch my back sensor. Within 10 seconds * 2 Touch a back sensor (any one). After I count down, please say the owner's name that is no longer than two seconds. 3, 2, 1, go! Within 10 seconds * 3 Tell the AIBO robot its owner's name in 2 seconds or less. I've registered my owner's name. Next, I'll learn your voice. First, please say, "I am your owner". Within 10 seconds * 4 Say, "I am your owner". Next, please say, "One, two, three, four, five". Within 10 seconds * * If you do not perform the operation within the prescribed number of seconds, the AIBO robot enters the Autonomous mode or returns to the previous state. 61
