[94] How to use Others Precautions On operating temperatures The camera is designed for use in temperatures between -10°C and +40°C (14°F and 104°F). Shooting in extremely cold or hot places that exceed this range is not recommended. [95] How to use Others Precautions On moisture condensation If the camera is brought directly from a cold to a warm location, moisture may condense inside or outside the camera. This moisture condensation may cause a malfunction of the camera. If moisture condensation occurs Turn off the camera and wait about 1 hour for the moisture to evaporate. Note on moisture condensation Moisture may condense when you bring the camera from a cold place into a warm place (or vice versa) or when you use the camera in a humid place as shown below. When you bring the camera from a ski slope into a warm place. When you bring the camera from an air conditioned car or room into a hot place outside. When you use the camera after a squall or a shower. When you use the camera in a hot and humid place. How to avoid moisture condensation When you bring the camera from a cold place into a warm place, put the camera in a plastic bag and seal it tightly. Remove the bag when the air temperature inside the plastic bag has reached the ambient temperature (after about 1 hour).
