Saving images Recorded images are stored on the internal hard disk of your camcorder. Due to the limited capacity of the internal hard disk, make sure that you save the image data to some type of external media such as a DVD-R or a computer. You can save the images recorded on the camcorder as described below. Saving images using a computer By using the software on the supplied CD-ROM, the quality of your recorded images is maintained even when the image is saved on a disc. You can rewrite movies with HD (high definition) image quality from the computer to your camcorder, if necessary. Creating a disc with One Touch (One Touch Disc Burn) You can save images recorded on the camcorder directly to a disc with ease. You can select a data type to be saved on a disc on the HOME MENU (p. 80). Saving images on a computer (Easy PC Back-up) You can save images recorded on the camcorder on the hard disk of a computer. Creating a disc with selected images You can save images copied to your computer on a disc. You can also edit those images. See "First Step Guide" on the supplied CD-ROM. Saving images by connecting your camcorder to other devices Dubbing to VCR or DVD/HDD devices See "Dubbing to VCR or DVD/HDD recorders" on page 62. 54
