Using a Computer What you can do with Windows computer When you install the "Picture Motion Browser" on a Windows computer from the supplied CD-ROM, you can enjoy the following operations. z Tips • The supplied software "Picture Motion Browser" does not support a Macintosh computer. Main functions x One Touch Disc Burn By pressing DISC BURN on your camcorder, you can save images recorded on your camcorder to a disc with the same image quality, automatically. You can create a disc easily. Movies recorded with HD (high definition) image quality are copied as they are. x Importing images taken with your camcorder to a computer You can easily import the images recorded on your camcorder to a computer. Movies recorded with HD (high definition) image quality are imported from your camcorder as they are. x Viewing imported images on a computer You can manage movies and still images by date and time of shooting, and select movies or still images you want to view as thumbnails. These thumbnails can be enlarged and played in a slide show. 88 x Creating a Playlist disc You can create a disc based on a Playlist created on your camcorder. x Creating a disc with edited images You can edit images imported to your computer, and create a disc consisting of selected images. x Rewriting imported movies with HD (high definition) image quality from your computer back to your camcorder You can rewrite movies that were imported from your camcorder to your computer, back to your camcorder. x Playing a disc consisting of images with HD (high definition) image quality t Player for AVCHD You can view movies with HD (high definition) image quality recorded on a disc by inserting the disc into the DVD drive of a computer. x Copying a disc t Video Disc Copier You can copy a disc you created as it is. b Notes • This camcorder captures high definition footage in the AVCHD format. When you install the “Picture Motion
Browser” on a Windows computer from the
supplied CD-ROM, you can enjoy the

The supplied software “Picture Motion

By pressing DISC BURN on your
camcorder, you can save images recorded
on your camcorder to a disc with the same
