Handycam Station Recording/Playback A Flash The flash will flash automatically depending on recording conditions in the default setting. Touch (HOME) t (SETTINGS) t [PHOTO SETTINGS] t [FLASH MODE] to change the setting. B Speaker C QUICK ON lamp Flashes during sleep mode. When you open the LCD panel while the QUICK ON lamp is flashing, you can start recording in about 1 second (QUICK ON). The flashing stops and the power turns off automatically if you do not operate your camcorder for a certain period during sleep mode ([QUICK ON STBY], p. 22). D Power zoom lever Move the power zoom lever slightly for a slower zoom. Move it further for a faster zoom. You can magnify still images from about 1.1 to 5 times the original size (Playback zoom). • When you touch the screen during playback zoom, the point you touched will be displayed in the center of the LCD screen. E RESET button Press RESET to initialize all the settings including the clock setting. F EASY button Press EASY to display and most of the settings are set automatically for easy recording/playback. To cancel, press EASY again. 17
