Lights when the unit is in either of the following
operating states.
• When a tape recorded in HDV format is being played
back.
• When [HDV/DV SEL] in the [IN/OUT REC] menu is
set to [AUTO] and HDV signals are being input from
the
HDV/DV jack.
• When [HDV/DV SEL] in the [IN/OUT REC] menu is
set to [HDV].

DVCAM indicator
Lights when the unit is in either of the following
operating states.
• When a tape recorded in DVCAM format is being
played back.
• When the following four conditions are met:
– When [HDV/DV SEL] in the [IN/OUT REC] menu
is set to [AUTO].
When [
REC MODE] in the [IN/OUT REC] menu
is set to [DVCAM].
– When DV or DVCAM signals are being input from
any of the input jacks.
– During recording or in EE mode.
