(Warning indicator pertaining to memory card) Slow flashing  Free spaces for recording images are running out. For the type of memory card you can use with your camcorder, see page 21.  No memory card is inserted (p. 21). Fast flashing  There are not enough free spaces for recording images. After storing the images on other media (p. 64), delete unnecessary images, or format the memory card (p. 88).  The image data base file may be damaged. Check the data base file by touching (MENU)  [Show others]  [REPAIR IMG.DB F.] (under [MANAGE MEDIA] category)  the recording medium.  The memory card is damaged. (Warning indicators pertaining to memory card formatting)  The memory card is damaged.  The memory card is not formatted correctly (p. 88). However, US note that the camera-shake warning indicator 100 does not disappear. (Warning indicator pertaining to photo recording)  The recording media is full.  Photos cannot be recorded during processing. Wait for a while, then record.  When [ REC MODE] is set to [HD FX], you cannot record photos while recording movies. (Warning indicator pertaining to smile shutter)  The smile shutter cannot be used with the current setting of the camcorder.  Tips  When [BEEP] is set to [ON] and the some warning indicators appear, you hear beep sound (p. 90). Recording media Internal memory format error.  The internal memory of the camcorder is set differently from the default format. Performing [MEDIA FORMAT] (p. 88) may enable you to use your camcorder. This will delete all data in the internal memory. Data error.  An error occurred during reading or writing the internal memory of the camcorder.  This may occur when you keep applying shock on the camcorder.  Movies recorded on other devices may not be played back.
